Call for Student Occupation/Disruption

For we are the ones of the future, we are the youth, and we are the ones who you claim to "think" about.

Well, let us communicate to you directly:

Dear Adults,

We are sick of getting killed by your bullets. We are tired of reading your books. We are bored with your history, and we are over your rules.

We are going to create our own future now: one with all the fun, late-nights, party's, skateparks, and show spaces we can handle.

One where we determine what stays and what goes, because you never include us in anything you determine. You never asked us if we wanted laws that tell us we can't be out at night, can't write on walls, can't skate/bmx, can't play loud music, can't travel on our own.

This is a call for you to remember our friends whom you have shot at. See, you took our chance to hang out with them, you murdered 12 year old Michael Ellerbe, and 15 year old Alexandros Grigoropoulos, 22 year old Oscar Grant, and you just shot 17 year old Leonard Howze.

We are uniting with other kids and on September 24th, we will either be in our streets in Downtown Pittsburgh, or occupying and disrupting our schools.
