We see RACE. It fucking matters. If we do not destroy it, it will destroy us. We're at WAR!!!It is an undeniable fact that Africans, Asians, and Latinos bare the brunt of historical and present day genocide in various forms. The brutal rape and land theft Amerikka was founded on leaves us with one choice: a mutifaceted war of liberation. In the face of abject destitution and wholesale ethnic and cultural butchering, unequivocal and non-negotiable must be the battle cry for all shades of people of color. The reality is (in occupied Turtle Island/the united snakes and most elsewhere), Arab, African, indigenous and all other non-european people are suffering genocide and warfare on a global scale.

The G-20 is a group of finance ministers, heads of central banks, and governmental leaders. They come together at least once a year to discuss Global Economic Issues. This September they will be meeting here in Pittsburgh to discuss so-called green economies and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The IMF is the Market manager of the world. The G-20 has plans to "reform the IMF".The hierarchy of the world we live in dictates that the market is above all others. This value system created the G-20 and the IMF to ensure that no other value systems -- solidarity, dignity, respect, love -- could compete. In this monopoly: oppression. The G-20 exists to be the managers of our oppression. Their policies of bio-devastation, economic imperialism, and manufactured desire dictate the world economy, which in turn keep us working for the future that they are creating without our consent. The summit ensures their power and with that, a future without health care, a livable earth, a sense of purpose, or freedom. They have a claim that they chose Pittsburgh to showcase our "recovery" from the economic woes, and showcase our commitment to a green economy. Pittsburgh has been in a population decline for the past 60 years, losing roughly 10% of its population every decade. Pittsburgh also has the worst air quality in the United States. It is pretty clear that they just came here to party and that they do not give a fuck about any of us.So we are stuck with this gigantic, disrespectful monster that has plans to ravage our city and use it as a playground. But we will not be bullied! As the City of Champions, we have time and again shown our commitment to our working class values. We are crafting the future world that we want to live in, on our own terms. We are working for a world worth living in: one free of their rule over our lives. In this, we will be creating space for our values, our desire, and we will be taking to the streets to express our anger and our rage against the conditions they are imposing on us. We will be out there for our love and solidarity with our friends, family, and neighbors. We are not listening or making demands. We are pushing through to a sustainable future, one with limitless possibilities where we can get up everyday and find value in breathing in a world that we have shaped, one where our opinions matter, one where we determine our conditions. Against absurdity, for a self-determining future:The Pittsburgh G-20 Resistance Project.

The Pittsburgh G-20 Resistance Project is a space where folks can come together and collaborate on ways to resist the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh, PA. Our goals are to lay the groundwork, provide an information clearing house, create & distribute publicity and educational materials, build momentum for the mobilization, engage in local, regional and national outreach, and develop an action framework. We seek to help coordinate efforts among like-minded people in order to create a just and sustainable world.POINTS OF UNITYThe following are the "Points of Unity" among individuals working with the Pittsburgh G-20 Resistance Project and its various working groups. We support:Work to end all relationships of domination and subjugation, including but not limited to those rooted in patriarchy, racism, classism, homophobia, capitalism, imperialism and the state;Resistance to the commodification of our shared and living Earth;Organizing on the principles of decentralization, autonomy, sustainability, mutual aid and respect;Opposition the police and prison-industrial complex, and maintaining solidarity with all targets of state repression; The use of a diversity of tactics to directly confront systems of oppression by advocating forms of resistance which maximize respect for life and oppressed peoples’ rights, and to construct local alternatives to global capitalism.HOW WE FUNCTIONThe Project holds weekly public meetings, but our work is carried out by semi-autonomous working groups. Participation in each working group is predicated on the assumption that each member supports our Points of Unity.

The economic disaster of the recent days needs no introduction: mass unemployment, skyrocketing inflation, and non-existent credit markets plague the developed world, while in the global south, the rising cost of food and fuel have led to hunger riots and increased poverty and destitution. According to the United Nations, the number of people currently living on the brink of starvation is nearly 1 billion, the large majority of the hungry being women and children. At the same time, wars for imperialism, immigration restrictions, environmental destruction, tuition hikes, and prison populations are exploding. And how have global leaders responded to the demands of the people, to deadly riots for rice in the developing world and university and factory occupations in the global north? By spending billions of dollars buying up bad loans and bailing out transnational banks, corporations. Thus far, nearly $8 trillion of the people’s money has been spent supporting the global elite. Without transparency and without a voice, the global working class has been robbed to support the faulty investments of a privileged few. Now, Obama has called another meeting of the twenty richest countries in the world in Pittsburgh, a working-class city that is intensely affected by the economic meltdown to discuss how best to continue failed policies such as neoliberalism, privatization, deregulation, and billion dollar bailouts. As their number one priority, this elite "Group of Twenty" leaders and finance ministers will be increasing the power and scope of the International Monetary Fund by trillions of dollars, an unaccountable institution that has imposed loan conditions, abject poverty, and environmental devastation on billions of people in the developing world to benefit corporate profits. It is time the G20 learned that capitalism isn’t in crisis, but capitalism IS the crisis. It is time that the G20 disband forever in shame.
